I’ve got a script that runs periodic tasks on my web and file server. It’s written in PHP, and works nicely. It uses cron to trigger it.

But I’m now looking for a more elegant way to get it scheduled via Windows Scheduler. I’d like it to run at a certain time for one user (the script runs as the www user), and have a secondary time for another user (so I can accept file attachments, etc. from other sites).

It’d be great if I could just set a time for the task and be done with it. But, alas, the Windows Task Scheduler doesn’t have an option for specifying a list of running users or groups. It only lets you create lists of programs and tasks you want to run; it doesn’t let you specify who or what the tasks are.
